Description
PUUR Pollen is a natural supplement specially designed to reduce your pet’s reaction to pollen, pollen and other allergens. During pollen season, many pets feel uncomfortable due to itching, licking, scratching and biting, especially in areas where the skin is not hairy, such as feet, ears, and around the eyes. PUUR Pollen helps the body respond better and reduce the excessive reaction to pollen.
This product contains a blend of natural ingredients, including oats, winter lime, narrow plantain, birch, goldenrod, dandelion and lesser nettle. These ingredients have soothing, anti-inflammatory and calming properties that support the skin and immune system, and protect the skin from irritation.
How does PUUR Pollen work?
PUUR Pollen has a desensitizing effect, which means it helps the body react less hypersensitively to pollen and other allergens. In doing so, it can help reduce itching and discomfort during the pollen season and improve your pet’s well-being.
Usage and Dosage
- The first week: once a day, depending on your animal’s weight:
- Horse: 15-20 drops
- Dog: 10-15 drops
- Cat: 5 drops
- After the first week: reduce the dosage to once every 2-3 days, then build up to a maintenance dose (usually once every 3 weeks), depending on your pet’s reaction.
- For dogs under 8 pounds, the cat dosage of 5 drops is recommended unless the veterinarian advises otherwise. Thus, these small dogs can be given the same as cats for safe and effective treatment.
- It is recommended to give PUUR Pollen for at least one whole pollen season, and if necessary, also in a second season.
Administration
- Shake well before use.
- Drops directly into the mouth or diluted in water, preferably not at the same time as a meal.
- With cats, it may be helpful to put the drops on a warm spoon so the alcohol evaporates, or on a piece of treat.
- For cats that are reluctant to accept the drops, it can be applied to the top of the paw so they lick it off themselves.
Duration and Effect
- In acute situations, treatment may take several days to 3 weeks.
- For long-term complaints, effects are usually seen within 1 to 3 weeks.
- After improvement, the dosage can be reduced to a maintenance dose, usually half the initial amount.
- The product can be given long-term, but it is recommended to take a break after 6-8 weeks and restart it as needed.
Important
- During pregnancy and lactation, always consult with the veterinarian.
- Side effects are not known or reported.
- Make sure the product is stored dry and not exposed to direct sunlight, between 5-20°C.
